Freelance Designer
We're looking for a talented freelance designer to join our network and help small businesses build professional brand identities.
About This Role
Metabundle helps small businesses establish their online presence. Many of our clients need more than just a website—they need complete branding that represents their business professionally.
As a freelance designer in our network, you'll take on branding projects at short notice, delivering everything from logos and business cards to complete brand identity packages. You'll work directly with clients (with our support) to understand their vision and bring it to life.
This is project-based work with flexible scheduling. Take on as many or as few projects as suit your availability. We're building long-term relationships with reliable designers who deliver quality work.
What You'll Do
- Design professional logos that capture business identities
- Create business card and letterhead designs
- Develop banner graphics for web and print
- Build complete brand identity packages (logo, colours, typography, guidelines)
- Deliver social media graphics and profile assets
- Provide print-ready files in appropriate formats (PDF, AI, EPS, PNG)
- Communicate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
- Revise designs based on feedback within reasonable scope
Typical Deliverables
Logo Design
Primary logo, variations (horizontal, stacked, icon), colour and mono versions
Business Cards
Double-sided design, print-ready files with bleed
Letterhead
A4 template with header/footer, Word and PDF formats
Social Media Kit
Profile pictures, cover images for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
Brand Guidelines
Colour codes, typography, logo usage rules, basic style guide
Banners & Graphics
Web banners, signage designs, promotional materials as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in graphic design and branding (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and own equipment
- ABN for invoicing (or willingness to obtain one)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Figma or other collaborative design tools
- Knowledge of print production requirements
- Understanding of web design principles
- Located on the Gold Coast (for occasional in-person meetings)
- Experience working with small businesses
